Chinese checkers is a strategy game where players race to move their pieces across a star-shaped board to the opposite side. The game is a simplified variation of the older game Halma. 
How to Play:
Movement: Players take turns moving one piece per turn. Pieces can move one space in any direction to an adjacent empty space, or they can jump over another piece (including their own or an opponent's) to an empty space on the other side. 
Jumping: Players can make multiple jumps in a single turn if the path is clear. 
Winning: The first player to get all their pieces into the opposite triangle wins
Setup: Players choose a color and place their pieces (usually marbles or pegs) in the corresponding triangle on the board. 
Objective: The goal is to be the first to move all of your pieces across the board to the opposite triangle.
